We are very excited to be able to launch the application process for our brand new artist development programme!
Open to all young musicians aged 18-25 years old in Somerset, the Young Artists Development Programme (YADP) offers a one year package of bespoke mentoring, masterclasses and performance opportunities for talented and passionate young musicians.
Funded by The Taunton Maids Bursary, SWMS are in a position to offer bursaries to just FIVE brilliant musicians in Somerset.
Tracy Hill, Head of Development at SWMS and YADP lead, says “thanks to Taunton Maids, we are now able to widen our programme to include young people up to the age of 25 years. This is a brilliant opportunity for young musicians in Somerset to access additional support at a point in their life where they make important decisions for the future.”
