Core Graduates
South West Music School’s Core Graduate programme is for our continuing students over the age of 18 who are not in higher education. Some students who have chosen to take a gap year before heading to University, while others are looking at alternative career pathways. The Core Graduate programme is built for each individual student’s own interests, needs and future plans in mind.
The Core Graduate Programme is a bespoke programme designed around each individual student.
The Core Graduate Programme offers:
- Professional mentoring and consultancy sessions
- Work experience opportunities
- Tuition support
- Access to our the Core and Composer residential courses
- Access to SWMS short courses
Students are offered high-quality bespoke mentoring from specialist professionals based throughout the region. The focus on each session is planned in advance in collaboration with the student, and can cover a wide range of topics based on each student’s individual career and/or academic aspirations, musical interests and current creative projects.
Each student is provided with a budget that can support tuition fees.
Core Graduate students have full access to our short course programme as well as an invitation to join our Core and Composer residential courses.
