PDP Autumn Project Performances

Back in October 2020, our Performance Development Programme Students took part in their first workshop of the year. Working with tutors Ali Willia and Paul Sartin, students were tasked with producing a piece of music that fused a traditional folk style with a more contemporary genre to portray an environmental statement.
Students were also posed with the challenge of purely collaborating with each other online, presenting a unique learning experience in working with musicians with in person interaction.
The project was finished with a ‘Live on Zoom’ performance from the students in December; a crash course in virtual performances which the students completed with flying colours!
The two pieces below were recorded and written by Finn and Dmitri, and Loren respectively. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
